DIRECTIONS:  Wellington Terrace is off West Street, which is the road running from the bottom of Harrow on the Hill (from the Bessborough Road and Lowlands Road) to the top of the hill, where there is the famous Harrow School and St. Mary’s Church Spire which can be seen for miles. Wellington Terrace is the first turning on the right coming up the hill or the last turning on the left if you are coming down.

Find VAR SHA, 68 West Street, which is the beauty salon on the corner of Wellington Terrace and turn in there.  The Academy of Angelic Healing is in the fifth house on the right.  You will see the angel statues in the garden and on the window sill.

There is always free parking at the bottom of West Street which is adjacent to Wellington Terrace and just a few seconds walk away.  Please try to avoid parking in Wellington Terrace if possible.

BY TUBE:  The nearest tube stations are Harrow on the Hill (Metropolitan line), South Harrow (Piccadilly line) and Harrow and Wealdstone (Bakerloo line). The venue approximately a 13 minute walk from Harrow on the Hill Station and 17 minutes from South Harrow Station. From Harrow and Wealdstone Station take the 258 bus to Harrow School (see further directions in bus section below).  It is also possible to come to Northolt station which is on the Central line and get a 140 bus (from just outside the station and on the same side of the road) to Grange Road stop and either walk from there (approximately 5 minute walk) or take the H9 or 395 to Whitmore Road (see further directions in bus section below).

WALKING from Harrow on the Hill station: There is a lovely walk over the green belt of Harrow on the Hill you can take in daylight hours.  Please do not attempt this walk in the dark when you would be wiser to just stick to the main roads.  Turn left as you come through the ticket barrier and walk down the steps at the back of the station and walk to the end of the road. Turn right and cross the road at the zebra crossing.  Turn left and then immediately right following this path until you come to an alley way by the top of the green.  Walk along this alley way and walk across the road with the church on your left and continue along the alley way until it brings you to the hill.  Walk across the hill taking the lower path which will bring you into Nelson Road or go straight through the office car park into West Street.  Wellington Terrace is straight ahead.

BY BUS:  From Harrow on the Hill Station, take H10 or 395 to the West Street stop.  Walk up West Street which is the road running between the two cricket fields to the top of the hill. Cross the road and look for no. 68 VAR SHA which is on the corner of West Street and Wellington Terrace.  The Academy of Angelic Healing is no. 17 on the right hand side.  You will see the angel statues in the garden!

The H17 and 258 come from Harrow on the Hill Station to the top of West Street – get off at the Harrow School stop. Cross the road and walk in the same direction as the bus is going until you see the School Outfitters on the corner of the High Street and West Street.  Walk down West Street to almost the bottom of the hill and turn in to Wellington Terrace at no. 68, VAR SHA, and the venue is the fifth house on the right.

From South Harrow Station, cross the road and get a H9 or 395 to the Whitmore Road stop which is almost opposite West Street. Walk back to the zebra crossing to cross the main road and walk up West Street to no. 68,VAR SHA, turn right here and the venue is the fifth house on the right.

BY CAR:  If you are arriving between 10am and 2pm Monday to Friday you will need to collect a Visitor Parking Permit from me before parking.  Otherwise, there is always plenty of free parking at the bottom of West Street which is adjacent to Wellington Terrace and no more than a few seconds walk! Please try to avoid parking in Wellington Terrace.

ACCOMMODATION:  Try Air BnB. There are currently a few places within walking distance at very reasonable prices.

Accommodation at The Old Etonian on Harrow on the Hill is very close but will probably be quite expensive. The Eurotraveller Hotel at South Harrow is also within easy walking distance but this may also be pricier than other options.

Abbascombe Arrival Lodge near to Harrow & Wealdstone station is a firm favourite with many of my students. It is reasonable and you can help yourself to breakfast goodies in the kitchen at any time of day! You can also self-cater. A 258 bus from nearby Harrow & Wealdstone station will bring you to the top of West Street.  It is a 30 minute walk from the venue.

The Travelodge at Northolt is ideal for those coming from Heathrow Airport as the 140 bus from the airport will drop you opposite the hotel.  Northolt tube station on the Central Line is opposite the hotel which will take you directly into central London within a few minutes.  It is easy to reach The Academy of Angelic Healing as there is a bus stop outside the tube station opposite the hotel where the 395 bus will bring you to Whitmore Avenue stop which is almost opposite West Street.  Walk up West Street and find no. 68, Fey Sanctuary, and the venue is the fifth house on the right.  There is a Harvester Restaurant adjoining the Travelodge at Northolt.

The Premier Inn at Kenton is close if you are coming by car so you can drive to the venue as it is a challenging journey to the venue by public transport as you will need two buses.  Taxis are reasonably inexpensive.  It is about a 30 minute walk from the venue. There is a Beefeater Restaurant adjoining the Premier Inn at Kenton.
